What we support
We are a group of local Armadale residents who support more housing in our suburb — done the right way. We believe Armadale can grow without losing what makes it special. The State Government wants more homes in Armadale. So do we. But their one-size-fits-all, fast-tracked approach will do lasting damage to our neighbourhood.
What we oppose
We oppose the Government’s planning reforms, as they will destroy the character of our suburb by permitting as of right 3 to 6 storey apartment developments in most of the residential areas of Armadale.
Who is Save Armadale
We are a group of local residents who came together originally in response to the City of Stonnington housing plan development and then expanded when the State Government announced its new activity centres planning reforms.
