Guide to Activity Centre Zones

• Save Armadale has prepared a short guide to the new zones in the activity centres around Toorak and Armadale stations (item 1 on the Resources Page) to be read with the government maps (Item 4 on the Resources page).

• The guide explains height limits applicable to each zone, the effect of a heritage overlay, the Built Form Overlay (Core only), and the Deemed to Comply Rules (all zones).

• It also covers the curtailment of rights of objection and appeal to VCAT and what rights remain.

• It is a general guide only and you should seek professional advice if you want advice on which you can rely.
